PARMAGNUS

THE MAGNIFICENT ONE
The great Egyptian city of Alexandria, cultural center of the ancient world, is located on Earth's surface 31 degrees above the planet's equator. Roughly 12,000 km westward, united by the same geographical Magnificent Parallel, the El Paso-Juárez metropolitan area marks the boundary between two American nations.

According to the original definition in the First Martian Stories where, instead of a line/plane, Earth's Magnificent Parallel is conceived as a narrow band one degree in width on our planet's surface, centered on the 31 degrees, 12 arcminutes North latitude, the El Paso-Juárez metropolitan area is located on the northernmost limit of such a geographical band. The neighboring cities of El Paso (USA) and Juárez (México) belong to the Magnificent Parallel.

PARMAGNUS supports and incorporates the International Flag of Planet Earth,
an original design by Oskar Pernefeldt.
